Making the playoffs is the name of the game and getting there takes a lot of work and careful preparation. NFL bye weeks are an important part of any pro football team’s schedule along with any football fan’s fantasy team and novice and serious bettors alike.

Over the years NFL bye weeks have become one of the things that can make or break anyone’s fantasy football season. Fantasy pros take bye weeks into account when they draft their teams to make sure that they don’t have multiple players with the week off at the same time. Scenarios like these lead to mad dashes to the fantasy league waivers. That’s no way to live. Know when every team’s bye weeks and plan ahead of time so you won’t have to worry about your team throughout the season.

Having said that, for the folks that bet money NFL bye weeks have been one of the biggest questions since they came about in 1990. How should teams coming off their bye weeks be treated? Judging ahead of time how a team is going to perform a week can be quite challenging. Being involved though and doing some homework instead of just betting on feel can help push the odds in your favor.
